Current Location> HOME>Austrian School Requirements for Students

Austrian School Requirements for Students

  • German schools
No language requirement for high school or secondary school, most aged 18

  • Private Music academies
No language qualifications, aged 18, and must have knowledge in music

  • Private universities
So me Austrian private universities use English as medium of instruction and they usually subject high school and secondary students to take the language test. The TOEFL or IELTS results is the best and performance is not necessarily high

  • Public universities

    • Chinese university (University system is over three years, including a three-year full-time)

    • Passed the college entrance examination and was admitted to university, or are taking graduate studies

    • Local university graduates (otherwise specified)

    • Non German needs English proficiency requirements

These are the Austria’s college admission requirements, although music schools require applicant no special qualification requirements but must participate in the taking of examinations.

As Austria’s German music schools and private colleges give applicant without too many restrictions courses are relatively easy. So for those who want to go abroad but do not have enough education students, you can familiarize with the social environment of Austria and master the language so you can transfer later to the appropriate school or to other EU countries.
