The Belgian embassy in China require students who want to study in Belgium and who are applying for a visa to submit the following materials :

The applicant's passport.

Filled-in visa application form (application form of applicants should be pass to the Belgian embassy in China and specify contacts for the embassy to send the results) and four recent photos full-faced without a hat.

Medical Certificate (Medical forms are issued by the embassy).

Notarized certificate of no criminal record

Belgium University 's admission notice.

Certified economic guarantee
Admission from the Belgian school will only be given to applicants who have finished high school studies and for those who have bachelor’s education. If the application is in Reading Courses, Belgian schools also offers language tutorial. If the applicants have been awarded scholarships (including tuition, living expenses and medical insurance), you do not need to find a financial guarantor, as long as you have sufficient documents to prove the scholarship grant.
Furthermore, if students want to achieve a temporary residence approval in Belgium, students need to prove and illustrate the ability to pay all costs of studying. Some universities also need such proof during enrollment. If students have to access residence visas for other members of the family, it is important to provide an evidence to prove that the students have enough revenue to pay the costs of the family members stay in Belgium.
