China’s education is basically an examination-oriented education, all teaching activities geared towards examination. Teachers prepare their teaching outline strictly in accordance to the book and have to be completed in a systematic manner throughout the learning process. This model 2007 has been extended from primary school to university which led students to a long-term passive learning environment and it suppresses personal and professional development that lead to a sluggish employment. In the United State, schools pay more attention to the development of personality and practical skills. In the secondary education, they put emphasis on liberal arts education not like in China where the emphases in math, physics, and chemistry. American education has a broad vision that actual work is more important after their training in the school. To broaden the horizon of the students, they provide arts and history studies. Measuring standard for excellence also varies according to the study.
