Conditions and Requirements in the Application for Admission

Applicationfor Admission

Foreign students first contact with their selected institutions particularly the “University’s Foreign Affairs Department.” Most people hope to study in Germany and it is recommended that you should discuss with the relevant institutions before six months or a year so that the “University’s Foreign Affairs Department” will be able to check your documents and give their decision.

In general, the “University’s Foreign Affairs Department” oversee the processing of the applications for admission. DAAD scholarship holders’ entry application procedures were processed by DAAD. For those who wish to pursue quota courses, students should apply in "German universities distribution center."

For the preliminary inquiry of i nstitutions you selected, you should prepare the details for your qualifications (diplomas, language ability, University credits, etc.).

Winter semester (from October to February of the following year) application deadline is usually July 15. Summer semester (from April to July) application deadline is January 15.

Conditions for Admission
Foreign students who want to study in Germany must first get "permission to attend higher education" or prove that he is entitled to be admitted to an institution of higher education. For those whose educational qualifications or certificates are recognized as equivalent to those in Germany, they may be admitted immediately.

If the student holds a certificate that is not the same with that of Germany’s high school diploma, the student must undergo an “eligibility test” The preparatory institutions attached to the institutions of higher education are responsible for preparing students to take the “eligibility test”.

If the student has taken in his own country non-university courses of German, he can be exempted from the test, "eligibility test." If the student has already received credits that can be recognized by the institutions concerned, "University’s Foreign Affairs Department" will give you information.
