Italian Education System

   Italian high school students after graduation can enter the university through the National Examinations. They can register to any Arts and Science universities, engineering, law, education and literature depending on the score they will get on these courses. There are 64 National Higher College and seven private universities. T eaching quality of national universities is high as that of private universities, the former student graduation rate is only 40%, and the later is as high as 90%.

Italy ’s higher education in and scientific research and technology are very famous.

   Italian government subsidizes large funding for education annually. Domestic university tuition is relatively low such as the University of Rome where regular graduate fees are only around 8,000 Yuan. If the courses were not completed on time, you can extend your learning time. In the extended period, the tuition fees will be higher.

Italy 's high level of education system
   Italy national illiteracy rate is less than 3%. They impose eight years of compulsory education, primary education, secondary education, high school education and university education in five stages.

   Italy now has 88 academic institutions with 54 domestic universities, 13 private universities, and 11 specialists.

   These universities are learning and research centers, as well as vocational training centers that i inncludes four years academics on human sciences, natural sciences, medicine science, mathematics, information science and other. For five years academic they have physics, chemistry, system engineering, and so on. Medical science and foreign academic is six years.

Characteristics of Italian higher education and the characteristics of professional

  • Italian universitties credit system. `

  • NO entrance examinations. Chinese students wishing to study in Italy must have some basic Italian language

  • Curriculum has a slight difference: four-year courses for university specialist, undergraduate courses generally require three years to complete, postgraduate courses for one to two years. The government of Italy has high subsidies for graduate studies.
