Requirements for Student Visa Application in Norway
|
St udents who want to study in Norway will apply for a student visa at their own expense and they are required to have the following materials :

Valid passport issued by the Chinese government

Official admission notice issued by a university in Norway

Proof of economic capability
Applicants have to prove that they have sufficient funds to support their study in Norway. Applicants are required to have Norwegian bank accounts, 60,000 Norwegian krone, and a bank statement issued by the bank as a proof of economic guarantee. Applicants can also prove his economic capability by presenting a notarized guarantor who has a deposit of 60,000 Norwegian krone and certified by the bank.

V isa application forms and family questionnaire (fill-up this form when applying for a visa in the Norwegian embassy)

Two passport photos
Applicants should bring the above materials and submit them to the Norwegian embassy consular office. Visa processing time takes three months.
