How to apply for Singapore visas

Singapore visas are divided according to the length of time of staying in Singapore. The first is the short-term visas such as tourist visas, visas to visit relatives and friends, and business visas, etc. second are long-term visas such as: long-term travel card, Pass and employment permits, etc.. The length of stay in Singapore for short-term visas is 4 days to 30 days and for long-term visas has longer residence time for about three months to a year range.

Tourist visas

 

The length of stay in Singapore is 96 hours or 4 days. Tourist visa holders come to the Singapore with Tourist groups. They should hang out together. The travel time should not be postponed. Tourist visas are secured by travel agents.

Visiting friends and relatives visa

 

Can stay in Singapore for 30 days. Travel should not be postponed. The main reason for coming to Singapore is to visit friends and relatives. It is needed for Singapore citizens or permanent residents to act as guarantor and to send the invitation. According to the immigration policy the applicant should pay 5,000 Yuan. If you will not arrive on the departure time, deposits are refundable.

Business visas

 

Can stay in Singapore for 14 days. The main issue to come to Singapore is for business activities. It is needed for the company from Singapore to guarantee and to extend the invitation.

Long-term visit visas

 

The main issue to visit Singapore is the reunion with children and elderly. Each can stay in Singapore for six months. Long-term visit visas can be renewable. Singapore permanent resident’s parents and wife's parents can apply without reference margin.

Pass/Student Visa

 

Students who come to Singapore to study should stay in Singapore for at least three months and must be under the age of 26. Students who attend government university like Hong Kong Polytechnic University will be exempted from payment of margin.

6.

Employment permits
