South Africa Visa Information
Every country has the sovereign right to decide who may or may not enter its territory. Possession of a visa does not guarantee automatic admission to the Republic. The purpose of a visa on the one hand is to ensure proper screening of applicants so that undesirable persons are not admitted to the Republic and on the other hand to facilitate the entry of approved applicants at South African ports of entry. Visas provide immigration officers with the necessary information to ensure that applicants are admitted for the correct purpose and period into the RSA.
Those applying for a visa should comply with the following requirements:

The basic requirements:

Application Form: The English application forms should be completed by the applicant himself and with his signature.

PHOTO: passport-size photographs. At the back of the photograph, the applicant should write the pinyin of his full name.

Passport: The passport must be valid for six months and signed by the holder.

Tickets: round-trip air fare
-
Guarantee letter: applicants are required to have a letter from the employers guaranteeing that they are not there to apply for work or for permanent residence permits but that they are going to return back and live in the People's Republic of China in a letter.

Documents: All application materials must have English translation.

Visa fees:
250 yuan (business and tourist visa)
840 yuan (working visa and student visa)

Deposit: refundable deposit of 20,000 yuan or provide a bank guarantee of 10,900 deposit to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation for you not to pay the bond. Upon your return to the People's Republic of China, within 15 days you can present your original passport and invoices to the immigration chapter for refund. (Subject to two working days).
Under specific circumstances, the consular officials will decide whether to have an interview.
