1, The visa application:
Applicants must come in person and must apply for a visa to the Spanish Consulate General in Shanghai.
2, Conditions for families applying for a visa:
In de facto or de jure separation, and that they did not meet the legal requirements of marriage, spouses should have the right of abode in Spain.

Spouses and children below the age of 18 (including adopted children), unmarried or an independent, should have the right of abode in Spain.

An applicant below the age of 18 years or an independent legal representative has the right of abode in Spain .

Parents have the right of abode in Spain and their spouses who are financially dependent.
3, Materials to be submitted:
4 recent standard passport photographs, one stapled to each application form.

Proof of residency in Spain of the relative to be reunited with. (Notarized copy of Residence Card and of passport).

Notarized petition from legal resident in Spain, requesting Family Reunification Visa (original and copy)

Documental proof of minor children’s economic dependence on the legal resident in Spain who is entitled to request family reunification. (original and copy)

If there is only one parent concerned that though it did not appear in the translation and authentication of the certificates, it is likely that the applicant had applied for the family reunification visa.

Evidence of economic dependence and its translation (original and copy)

Certificate(s) by police authorities as to the absence of police record. The certificate must be legalized by the Spanish Consulate (original and copy)

Medical certificate issued by institutions designated by the embassy consular office indicating that the applicant has been examined and found in good physical and mental health and has no contagious diseases, mental illness, and drug addiction that may affect social order. (Original)

All copies of passport pages of the applicants’ passport valid for more than 120 days

Applicants complete addresses in China (2 addresses)

The embassy of Spain has the right to ask applicants for further interviews and the right to request any proof required for visas. All supporting materials need to be translated into Spanish or English

Applicants should come within two months after receiving the visa announcement
5, Visa fees:
Visa fee is 405 yuan (54 euros).
People who want to stay in Spain whose visa expired may get certificates or clearance from local police authorities and apply to the Spanish government. |
