Only seven are comprehensive universities. Recently, there is a rapid growth of the number of foreign students coming to Sweden. This is because the government of Sweden and the Swedish domestic universities actively follow the system of international education policy. There are around 16,000 graduate students in Sweden and there are more than 450 research sites. Students must receive at least three years of college education in order for them to be qualified to attend graduate education. Meanwhile, to be able to enter graduate education, there are special entry requirements and of these requirements is obtaining at least 60 credits.
In addition, each of the bodies of teachers in the Committee on Education will assess doctoral students. The Swedish government has also announced in recent years about the graduate subsidy system reform. According to the Swedish Foreign Cultural Exchanges Commission, all types of higher education in Sweden should have the same basic eligibility requirements.
It is not a requirement for applicants to have the necessary knowledge of Swedish but they should be proficient in English because the degree courses are taught in English. |
