The United States of America is located in central North America. On the east of USA is the Atlantic Ocean while on its west is the Pacific Ocean. The north of USA is where Canada is while on its South is Mexico and the Gulf of Mexico. Alaska, which is located north of Canada, still belongs to USA national territory as well as Hawaii, which is located to the Pacific Region.

The Total land area of USA is 9,372,614 sq km with 22,680 km long coastline. The residents of the United States about 290 million.

The capital and seat of government of the United States is Washington D.C.

Most of the residents of USA are descendants of European immigrants. The blacks also represent about 21% of the national population. Indians, Mexicans, Puerto Ricans and even Chinese also constitute the national population of the United States.

The United States has a highly developed modern market economy. Its labor productivity and GDP and foreign trade volume ranks first in the world. USA has the soundest macroeconomic regulation and control system.
